Sing It Again, Tulsa: The Return of Tulsa Sings!

Like many things that the COVID-19 pandemic put on hold, the annual “Tulsa Sings!” competition is coming back this year! So whether you are interested in entering the competition or know someone who might be, here is the information you need to know about “Tulsa Sings!”

This will be the fourth year for the competition. It was previously held during the 2017 – 2018, 2018 – 2019, and 2019 – 2020 Signature Symphony seasons, and is open to any singer or vocalist with a connection to Tulsa. (Children under age 18 will need a parent or guardian’s approval.)

Several finalists will perform at Signature Symphony’s final concert of the year, titled “Tulsa Sings! American Jukebox” on April 8, 2023. Contest categories, including an Audience Favorite, which will be determined based on audience votes, and a Grand Prize Winner, will be chosen by a panel of judges that includes Broadway vocalist Scott Coulter, who will also be performing in the concert.

To enter, first record a video (up to three minutes in length) of yourself singing a song from any genre of music. Then go to https://www.signaturesymphony.org/tulsa-sings/ and fill out the entry form by clicking the green button at the top right of the screen that reads “Tulsa Sings! Entry Form.” You will submit a link to the video as part of the form.

Auditions are open now through Oct. 3, 2022 at 5 p.m.
