SNAPS: Food on the Move and Girl Scouts work together to help families in need

Food on the Move, started by Taylor Hanson and Shar Carter in January 2015, aims to work with food and health experts to provide food to local food deserts. Food on the Move and Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma partnered to help the community by offering fruits and vegetables this past holiday season.

Two volunteers worked to prepare food to give away at the Food on the Move community event held at Tulsa Community College Northeast campus.

Food on the Move and the Girl Scouts partnered to donate Christmas items to families who are struggling during the holiday. More than two dozen bikes were donated for Christmas.
