Tulsa’s Downtown Midweek Market moved from Chapman Green in 2023-2025 to Santa Fe Square in 2026. It is just a few blocks from Tulsa Community College’s Metro Campus, located on historic Route 66. The market’s new season opened on April 15, 2026.
The Downtown Midweek Market was organized by the Downtown Tulsa Partnership, which is on a mission “to champion a prosperous, vibrant, and inclusive Downtown Tulsa, with a vision of Downtown Tulsa as the center of commerce, culture, and community,” according to Becki DeVore, Midweek Market manager.
“The Midweek Market is a direct reflection of that mission, bringing fresh food access, local commerce, and community activation to the heart of downtown Tulsa,” she said.
“The Midweek Market runs every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.,” DeVore added. “Spring season is April through July, and the fall season is September through November.”
“We aim to have up to 30 vendors at each market,” the manager stated. “Our vendor mix includes fresh, locally grown produce, locally raised meats, home goods, artisan and handmade products, local artists and makers, and a variety of prepared food options. We are especially focused on growing our fresh produce and local meat presence this season.”
The vendors committed to participate in the Midweek Market are the following: Aqua Flow 918, Alchemy Gardens, Black Gold Honey, Caricature/Greeting Cards, Cottonwood Hill Candles, Erra Natural Health + Beauty, Homegrown Sourdough Bakery, Kountry Queen’z Aqua Fresca, Ladyddelights, Soaps & More, Onifade’s Bakery & Cookie Co., Other Colors Homestead, Pretty Pup, Pure Cloud Comfort, Slate Sourdough, Smokin Good Salsa, SweeTeeze Freeze Dried Candy, Warmest Hug, Willow’s Homemade Treats, and Yo’s Creations.
Each vendor offers unique products, which are not commonly found at large supermarkets. For example, Tyra Woodard-Owens, an African American owner of the SweeTeeze Freeze Dried Candy, transforms traditional sweets into delightfully crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth treats. She arranges the candy inside the packages creatively, and that makes the products look attractive and fun to purchase.
Matt Shearer owns a local Oklahoma beekeeping company, Black Gold Honey. He sells a variety of flavored honey at the Midweek Market, such as lemon, lavender, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, and other infused honey. The reviews of the products on the company’s website https://blackgoldhoney.square.site are remarkable.
“Tried Black Gold Honey today and WOW! It was so flavorful! Even my 16-year-old son said that beats any honey he’s ever eaten!” wrote Jessi, the Black Gold Honey customer. “We taste tested the lavender, vanilla, raw, lemon, and hot. We ended up getting two vanillas and a hot! It tastes so delicious, and Matt shared using hot honey as a topping for pork or chicken. We are definitely trying that. Check them out!”
Besides commerce, the Midweek Market brings entertainment to downtown Tulsa.
“Every market features live music from a rotating lineup of local performers,” said DeVore. “We book a variety of musical acts throughout the season to keep the energy fresh and make the market a fun destination for the whole community.”
“We also incorporate special theme nights throughout the season like Earth Day, Kids Night, Pups in the Plaza, and Red, White and Bloom,” DeVore added.
