Hip Hop 918 celebrates third year at Guthrie Green
Hip-Hop 918 held its third year of the festival following the inaugural event in 2019. The musical celebration, named for the 918 area code of Tulsa, took the stage at Guthrie Green on Sept. 9. This year’s performances included Joeski Love, Steph Simon & the Straight Outta Tulsa Diamonds, Dangerous Rob, and headliner, EPMD. The event coincides with the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop as a genre.

Lawn chairs and blankets scattered across the lawn as hip hop fans enjoyed the festival at Guthrie Green. Families and Hip-Hop lovers alike enjoyed the musical performances by many local hip hop artists. Playa 1000 was the emcee for the 2023 annual Hip-Hop 918 festival in Tulsa, Okla.
