Synopsis

Based on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, ‘My Fair Lady’ is a stunning musical about transformation, self-discovery, and elegance, set in Edwardian London (1901-1919) that has won praise from critics and audiences alike for its heart.

The play tells a story of a flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, from working-class London. Her distinctive Cockney accent attracts a linguistics professor, Henry Higgins, who finds her accent repulsive. Colleague Colonel Pickering, who specializes in languages, and Higgins wager that in six months Higgins can pass off Eliza Doolittle as a duchess at an embassy gala. Little did they know that this would change their lives forever.

Will Eliza Doolittle struggle to change from a simple flower girl to a sophisticated lady?

Will her relationship with Professor Henry Higgins change as they start collaborating?

What more will the heroes learn on their journey?
