Tulsa Community College Theatre has announced that its next production will be Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons.” It is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2, and 3 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. at the VanTrease PACE Studio Theatre on the TCC Southeast Campus. The play is directed by Bethanie Frank.
Considered one of the greatest American plays ever written, “All My Sons” tells the story of the Keller family as they struggle with secrets, loss, and the choices people make when they put business ahead of doing what is right. Although the play was written after World War II, its message about honesty and responsibility still matters today.
The New York Times said it is “An original play of superior quality by a playwright who knows his craft and has unusual understanding of the tangled loyalties of human beings.”
The Tony Award-winning play won Best Author in 1947, Best Revival in 1987, and three nominations, including Best Revival of a Play in 2019. It also won the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Play in 1947.
This production will feature special guest artists Mark Frank as Joe Keller, the family’s father, and Kerri Canyas as Kate Keller, Joe’s wife, who refuses to give up hope that her missing son is still alive.
